Standin' on the Corner in Winslow Arizona! Loop route from Flagstaff pines to Winslow Painted Desert via Leupp ("Loop") and Dilkon open range and butte country. 188mi/300km ~5300 ft climbing (85% RWGPS). Cue sheets may be downloaded and printed by riders if they wish. Cue sheets will NOT be passed out at the start. Make sure you have a cue sheet as a backup in case your GPS fails. (PDF format is not available.) Elevation Profile Total 5,300 ft of climbing
Requirements Required reflective wear – jacket/vest/ankle bands/SamBrowne belt, head+tail lights; Recommended helmet light, cell phone, repairs kit (no bike shops on or near route outside of Flagstaff) Services Fast gradual descent from Flagstaff to Painted Desert and Winslow. Bulk of route ascent is in last 40 miles from Leupp to Flagstaff. Quiet roads. Plenty of motels near ride start/finish. 9 Registered Riders.
