This route is one huge loop that travels from Camp Verde, Arizona to the Grand Canyon and back.

Distance: About 380 miles

Terrain: (See view from the helicopter - bird's eye view.) About 16,000 feet of climbing.

Start time: Mass start at 4:00 AM. and announcements and time for questions at 3:45.

Start location: Rockin River Ranch, Camp Verde, AZ

Time limit: 40 hours

Lights: Required. There will be a light inspection at check-in to verify front and rear lights are working and are sufficient for night riding. Also required are reflective vest or sash and ankle reflectors.

Cost: If you're staying at the Rockin River Ranch, the brevet is already included in your daily rate. No extra charge for the brevet. (Show me the details.)

Customers of Zoomers Bike & Gear should email me their cycling resume before attempting this ride. To successfully complete this event, you must be able to ride 250 miles the first day and then get up the next day (after only a few hours sleep) and complete another 125 miles.
