Start: You can start the route either at the east entrance to the Grand Canyon in Cameron (Hwy 89) or in the park at the Grand Canyon Market Place. Either way you will need to pay the entrance fee to the park or show a National Park Pass. 

Distance: 208 km (130 miles) 

Services and Checkpoints: Services every 35 miles. Route is very remote with few services. Take advantage of services when you see them. 

Best time to go: Spring, Summer, Fall. 

Elevation: Strongly rolling. Total climbing is 8,043 feet. Elevation may also be a factor in your ride. The highest point is 7,500 feet above sea level. The route dips down to 4,250 feet above sea level but most of the ride is above 6,500 feet.
