Coolidge, Arizona

Coolidge is the first town we ride through once we leave Casa Grande. It's primarily cotton fields and dairy farms. Lately, new housing developments are crowding on the farms s Coolidge becomes a bedroom community for Phoenix.

This sign at the dairy farm is addressed to home owners, presumably those across the street in the new development. It says "Agricultural Fragrances, Insects, Pests & Dust Possible within 1/2 mile of Dairy".

I think we all smelled those "Agricultural Fragrances" as we rode through. I believe the sign means, "If you don't like the neighborhood, don't move in."
